What are some elements of this job that the public may not know about? I would assume a lot of the public has no idea on what the trustee actually does. I would make it clear on what the trustee does and what they are doing. The trustee responsibly handles the tax money that comes into the township. This will entail, giving the fire department a yearly budget, taking care and maintaining 4 of the 5 cemeteries we have, supporting the community anyway the trustee can, assisting residents when they have hard times, maintaining and supporting our park. This is a few examples of what the trustee does.
Why have you decided to seek election as a Republican candidate and why are those values important to you? I’ve decided to seek election as a Republican candidate because I believe in the core values of personal responsibility, limited government, and strong local communities. Those values matter to me because they empower individuals and families to make their own decisions, encourage hard work, and ensure government remains accountable to the people it serves.
