Statement: The Elkhart County Republican Party is sad to acknowledge the passing of Elkhart County Councilwoman Tina Wenger. We want to express our sincere condolences to her friends, family, and neighbors.
Tina loved Elkhart County and was passionate about meeting and assisting her constituents. During campaigns, she was often seen going door to door to speak with voters directly and she brought a needed independent perspective to her work on the County Council. Her patriotism and enthusiasm for her country were bold and clear.
Her service to our community did not go unnoticed and she will be missed by so many.
